& TMCS GLOBALS

  The Globals package of Talvo's MUSHCode Suite adds the following commands
  (use 'help <command>' for more information):

  +STAFF          +WHERE          +WHO   

  Some of these commands can be customised by staff; see the helpfiles for
  more details.

& +WHO

  +WHO [<name>]
  +WHO/ACTIVE [<time>]
  +WHO/HERE
  +WHO/<attr> <value>

  The +who command lists all players online, and shows some important
  information about them. If specified, only players whose names begin with
  <name> will be listed.

  +WHO/ACTIVE only shows players who have been idle for less than <time>, if
  given, or 5 minutes if not. <time> can be a number in seconds, or a
  combination of numbers followed by 's' for seconds, 'm' for minutes and
  'h' for hours (such as '5m 30s').

  +WHO/HERE lists only players in the same room as you.

  +WHO/<attr> <value> lists only players whose <attr> attribute contains
  a word starting with <value>. The valid values for <attr> can be seen
  with +TMCS/WHO ATTRS.

  Admins can customize +Who, as shown in HELP +WHO2.

& +WHO2

  +TMCS/WHO <option>[=<value>]

  This command can be used to customize the +who command. There are
  three valid <option>s: attrs, fields, and fields-top
  If =<value> is omitted, the current value is shown.

  Note that the <value> is evaluated both when you use the +TMCS/WHO
  command, and when the value is called later, so you may wish to use
  the ']' command prefix to prevent evaluation of any code in <value>
  when you enter it.

  For "attrs", <value> should be a space-separated list of attribute
  names. These are the attributes which can be given as switches to
  +who to limit the output. For example, +tmcs/who attrs=race status surname

  The labels shown at the top of +who can be changed using the "fields-top"
  option. In this case, <value> should be a space-separated list of
  <string>:<size> pairs, where each <string> will be left-justfied <size>
  characters (with an additional space afterwards). For example:
  +TMCS/WHO FIELDS-TOP=Name:[config(player_name_len)] Idle:4 Sta:3
                        Race:10 Location:30

  You can customize the information shown for each player with the "fields"
  option. <value> is a space-separated list of <field>:<size> pairs, where
  <field> is one of:
  "name" (player's name), "accname" (player's accented name), "conn" or
  "idle" for connection or idle time, "loc" or "room" for the name of the
  player's location or outermost location, "attr:<attr>" or "uattr:<attr>".
  The latter two can be used to show the text stored in an attribute on the
  player; "attr" does not evaluate it, and "uattr" does.
  Example:
  +TMCS/WHO FIELDS=name:[config(player_name_len)] idle:-4 attr:status:3
                   attr:race:10 loc:30

  The text will be trimmed/justified to be <size> characters in length.
  If <size> is negative, the text is right-justified instead of left. As
  with the labels, a space is added between fields.

& +3WHO

  +QWHO[/<switch>]

  This command lists all players online in a compact column format, along
  with their idle times. Players idle less than five minutes are hilighted.
  The command can take three <switch>es which change the order of the players;
  /name (the default), /conn, or /idle.

& +WHERE

  +WHERE[/loc|/room]

  This command shows all online players, grouped by location. By default, the
  player's outmost container is used (so if they're inside a wagon object,
  it shows the room the wagon is in), but you can use the /loc switch to
  show their actual location.

& '

  +OS <message>
  '<message>

  These commands let you speak OOCly. If <message> is prefixed by a : or ;
  your message will be posed or semiposed, respectively. Otherwise it will
  be spoken. OOC messages have an '<OOC>' prefix.

  OS, OOC and +OOC are aliases for +OS.

& +DISPLAY

  +DISPLAY <object>[/<attribute>]

  If no <attribute> is given, this command displays a lists of visible
  attributes on <object>. Otherwise, it evaluates the attribute and shows
  you it.

& +NEWBIES
& +OLDBIES

  +NEWBIES
  +OLDBIES

  These commands list the 15 connect players who have been on the game the 
  shortest and longest amounts of time, respectively.

& COUNT

  COUNT <object>

  This command checks all the attributes on <object> which you can see for
  mismatches uses the brackets() function, and tells you which attributes
  have mismatches and how many of each kind of opening and closet bracket
  were found. Mismatches are often (though not always) signs of typos and
  mistakes in softcode.

& +ADMINS

  +STAFF

  This command lists all admins on the game, sorted by name. It also shows
  how long they've been idle, for admins who are online. The total number of
  online admins is shown at the bottom.

  The information shown on +staff can be customized. See HELP +STAFF2.

& +STAFF2

  +TMCS/STAFF <field>[=<value>]

  This command can be used to change who is listed by the +staff command
  (when <field> is "list"), or the comments shown beside people's names
  ("comments"). If =<value> is omitted, the current value is shown.

  For "list", <value> should evaluate to a list of dbrefs or objids of
  all staff members. For example:
  ]+TMCS/STAFF LIST=get(#0/STAFF-LIST)   or
  +TMCS/STAFF LIST=lsearch(all,eplayer,orflags\(##\,Wr\))

  For "comments", <value> should evaluate to a staff member's comments,
  with %0 being the dbref of the staffer. For example:
  ]+TMCS/STAFF COMMENTS=get(%0/STAFF-DUTIES)

& +FINGER

  +FINGER <player>

  This command shows important information about a player, including their
  name, location, and whether they're online.

  Staff can configure the information shown on +finger; see HELP +FINGER2.

& +FINGER2

  +TMCS/FINGER <option>[=<value>]

  Wizards can use this command to customize the information shown on +finger.
  There are two possible values for <option>, "short" and "long". Short
  fields are displayed in a table, two per row, and long fields are shown
  in a list, one per line, underneath. If =<value> is omitted, the current
  values are shown instead.

  For each, <value> should be a |-separated list of fields.

  Valid fields are: name (player's name), accname (player's accented name),
  idle * (player's idle time), conn * (time player has been online),
  connidle * (connection and idle time in one field), last ** (last time
  player connected), loc (name of player's location, or Unfindable),
  attr:<attr>, uattr:<attr>, attrv:<attr> and uattrv:<attr>.

  * These fields are omitted when the player is not online.
  ** These fields are omitted when the player is online.

& +FINGER3

  The "attr", "uattr", "attrv" and "uattrv" fields can be used to display
  the contents of an attribute set on a player. "attr" and "attrv" do not
  evaluate the attribute (like get()), and "uattr" and "uattrv" do
  (like ufun()). "attr" and "uattr" will display "None" if the attribute is
  not set or cannot be read. "attrv" and "uattrv" will omit the field
  entirely if the attribute is not set.

  All fields can take an optional :<label> suffix. If given, <label> is
  shown before the field on +finger. Otherwise, a default label is used.

  Example:

  +TMCS/FINGER LONG=attrv:notes|attrv:web:Website|attrv:email

& +SELFBOOT

  +SELFBOOT

  This command is an alias for @BOOT/ME. See HELP @BOOT for more info.

& +POLL

  +POLL [<message>]
  +POLL/BACK [<number>]
  +POLL/DELETE <id>
  +POLL/BAN <player>

  With no argument, the +POLL command shows the current poll message. If a
  <message> is given, the poll will be changed. You cannot set two polls in
  a row, and it must be at least fifteen minutes since the last poll was set.

  The +POLL/BACK command shows you the last <number> polls (defaults to 10),
  up to 25. For admins, an id number for each poll is also shown. This can
  be used with +POLL/DELETE to remove undesirable polls.

  +POLL/BAN can be used by staff to toggle a player's ban status. It can be
  used to stop people who abuse the command from changing the poll (and to
  unban reformed abusers).
